Any comments on University Studios in Florida? My kids are 7 and 5. Just wondering if anyone has been there lately and have any good tips?

I have taken my family there and it was fun. Very commercial, but I would go again.

I wouldn't count on it. I don't think to many casting agents or directors are hanging around theme parks looking for new talent. If you did see a director you recognized there odds are they would be with family on vacation and not want to be bothered. Tell your friend to find another agent and start doing auditions.
