Default Cartoon Network

Anyone upset like me about shows such as Futurama and Family Guy being on Cartoon network? I would think they need to be on Comedy Central or something not advertised for kids. I like good fun myself, but am appalled when I see it on my child's tv. I have those TV ratings blocked on my children's tv, but I still think they should be moved to a different channel.

Most of the shows I can think of on Cartoon Network aren't really aimed at kids. Then again, I guess I'm thinking of all the Adult Swim stuff. I guess all that comes on later at night.

I've never watched it during the day. Do they actually show more traditional cartoons for kids?

At 9pm Central Cartoon Network turns into Adult Swim, the Shows you mentioned are (or were) on the Adult Swim segment.

And if you think it's bad now, when I was a kid Nickelodeon went off the air at 8pm eastern. Then, the Playboy Channel came on. I remember watching "You Can't Do That On Television" went off and then I would catch some stuff you really couldn't do on TV before the scrambling kicked in.

Scooby Doo and Looney Tunes are shows marketed at children, but have a lot of hidden adult themes. I mean, Shaggy and Scooby are obvious stoners. Velma is a closet lesbian who has a passive aggressive relationship with Fred over the affections of Daphne. And If you can't see the themes in Looney Tunes. I mean, Bugs is a cross dressing rabbit with homosexual tendancies. His oral fixation is constanly manifested in his need to have a carrot in his mouth like he was smoking a big............cigar.

Wasn't Foghorn Leghorn a big fan of the golden showers?

That is hilarious! I guess you can really read into anything these days if you try. It's just like all those "hidden meanings" in the Disney cartoons when people say they see pornagraphic images, etc. But I agree with the Velma, she is definitely a lesbian!
