Default Top TV duo of all time

Who do you think the top tv duo of all time is?

According to Yahoo TV blog..it is Bert and Ernie. They list the top 5 and I do not agree. I mean where is Lucy and Ethel (I Love Lucy).

Check it out here and tell me who you think should be number 1.

I can't believe those guys from Flight of the Conchords made #6. How ridiculous. I know these lists are created to promote discussion, but a writer loses all credibility when he or she makes such a boneheaded selection.

Isn't that show in its first season? Seems like it might be a bit early to put them in the Top 10 greatest duo list.

Here are some that might have been overlooked:

- Lucy and Ricky (I Love Lucy)
- Trapper John and Hawkeye (MASH)
- Sam and Diane (Cheers)
- Ralph Cramden and Ed Norton (The Honeymooners)
- Archie and Edith Bunker (All In The Family)

Love that Bert and Ernie. How many kids have grown up with them?

So many great duos on television, it would be impossible to give them all the spots they deserve.

How about Pat Sajak and Vanna White? It may not be a sitcom or drama, but everyone knows who they are, and you can't think of one without the other.

Did you know that Bert and Ernie were named after the characters from It's a Wonderful Life?

Oh wow. I did not know that! That's really interesting. I wish my kids liked Sesame Street. I should have started them on it really young, but seemed like Barney was always on and I really tired of that quickly, ugh---even went to the show they put on in Dallas.

Another good one. I loved The Dukes of Hazzardas a kid. Watching it many years later, I was horrified at how awful it was. I guess you're willing to overlook a lot when you're little.

Yep. They would certainly have to be on the list somewhere. For that matter, we should also include:

- Homer and Marge Simpson
- Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd
- The Roadrunner and the Coyote
- Tom & Jerry
- Mickie and Minnie Mouse
- Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam
