Has anyone watched 24? My parents have been into it since the beginning and bought all the seasons but I have never watched any of them.

Love that show. When Jack Baur needs to know something, you had better tell him. Otherwise, he'll electrocute you or shoot your wife in the leg (both actual events from the show).

Can't wait for the new season.

Well arighty then. Guess I need to borrow my parents' copies of the seasons.

It's a great show. The first half of Season One is a little slow, but things really pick up steam down the stretch. The next several seasons are excellent, and you never known who's going to live or die (besides Keifer Sutherland, that is).

Agent Jack Bauer (Sutherland) is always working against some kind of doomsday deadline (nukes about to explode, chemicals about to be released into the air), so he often has to resort to rather brutal methods to get the answers he needs.

You also get to see Bauer work with a number of U.S. presidents, and there's usually a subplot involving intrigue at the highest level. The various presidents are all distinctive and very entertaining.

I would certainly recommend the show, and I would try to watch them in sequence, if possible.
