Default Christian Bale Gone Wild

Anybody have thoughts on Christian Bale's curse-filled tirade on the set of the next Terminator movie?

Warning: R-rated audio clip for strong language.

The Director of Photography was moving lights during a scene (according to Bale, twice) and Bale goes off on a 2-3 minute monologue.

I'm afraid Bale may be an ass. That's too bad, as I've always been a fan of his movies. Still, what kind of guy slaps his mother?!

I guess all the success has gone to his head.

Christian Bale apologizes for 'awful' meltdown - MSN Movies News

Sounds like he came up with a pretty good apology. He did make a good point in thr radio interview he gave. I guess everybody has had one of those days where you just act like a jackass and then immediately regret it. It's just that most of us don't have people recording our every move with camera phones and the like.

Same thing with Alec Baldwin.

Besides, Christian Bale is a method actor. He was just "in character" when he had his meltdown.

I agree. I believe actors have a right to have meltdowns at times. For goodness sake, I have them at times and I do not pretend to be anyone but myself. People try to make actors out as having easy jobs, but I can see where they would be very stressed out and having identitiy issues. I'll bet Bale sometimes wonders who the real Christian Bale is anymore.

Good thing he didn't accuse the guy of being a cyborg and then shoot him.

Oh that was freakin hilarious! I like how his Welsh accent started coming out as his anger level grew.

I also like the excuse used by director McG to avoid the conflict....

Bale asks him if he's going to say anything about what just happened. McG replies, "I didn't see it happen."

Method actors scare me.
Heath Ledger was a method actor.

The New York Daily News and Newsarama both confirmed that Steve Rogers would be returning.
