Jarkko Ruutu's bite costs two games, chunk of salary - ESPN
During a fight with the Sabres' Andrew Peters, Ottawa's Jarkko Ruutu tried to take a piece out of his opponent with his teeth. As of Wednesday, Peters was wearing a bandage around his bitten right thumb. The NHL suspended Ruutu two games without pay for the incident. That comes to a total of $37,707. So what do you think? Are they making a big deal over nothing, or should his fine have been tougher?
