We are thinking of going to the southern regions of Vietnam since mid-November and early February, and especially want to visit Mui Ne and Trang NRA, but can not tell if this is the best time to visit because of the monsoon, or should be postponed until later in the year 2013. We are interested in a semi-luxury experience. The advice and information very welcome! Thanks in advance.

I am a female solo traveler and am thinking of going to Vietnam in late January 2013. I wanted to go to Halong Bay. Read about Vietnam, initially thought to travel by train. However, it takes a long time. Limited time as I travel to Malaysia. I would like to see as much of the country and is considered a stop at a beach area between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh.
