Cowboys cut ties with CB Jones after one season
The Dallas Cowboys have parted ways with troubled cornerback Adam "Pac-man" Jones. Does this help or hurt the Cowboys defense (or does it even matter considering Jones' tendency to get suspended by the league).

Since he's always getting suspended, letting him go was the right thing to do. The Cowboys need someone in that role who's dependable. They need a bread and butter player, someone they can count on, and Pac-man just isn't that guy. I hope that Pac-man gets his life straightened out. The good lord knows I've had my own problems in the past, and I can sympathize with being "troubled", but that's no way to run a football career. I also hope that he can respect the Cowboys' wishes, and that he'll learn a valuable life lesson from all of this.

I didn't see him do anything that great on the field this year, and with the complete circus that seems to follow the Cowboys around I don't think they will miss him at all. I read that because he got suspended during the season Dallas gets a mid round draft pick back from when they traded for him.

I heard on ESPN radio last night where Adam Jones thinks he might be back with the Cowboys next year. He better just worry about staying out of jail for the time being.

Does this qualify as not respecting their wishes?
