Default Eric Mangini to the Browns

Eric Mangini, recently fired as the head coach of the New York Jets, will now be taking over the reigns of the Cleveland Browns organization. Good luck, pal. You're gonna need it.

Browns hire Mangini as next coach

I think the Cleveland Browns show a lot of potential, and I also think that a talented coach like Mangini can bring that potential out on the field. Who knows? Maybe the Browns are now Superbowl bound.

Well, I've got Mangini as a coach in my fantasy football keeper league, so I'm happy for him to find employment.

Maybe we could arrange a trade?

You probably didn't know this about me, but I'm a big Mangini fan.

Mangini had better hope he has better luck keeping quarterbacks healthy than Romeo did. When your top 2 or 3 QB's drop, no one can win.

Brady Quinn showed real signs of promise during his lmited '08 campaign. If Braylon Edwards can bounce back and Winslow gets healthy, he'll have a couple of talented targets to throw to.

They could certainly improve their running game, but I expect they may address that in the draft or via free agency.

The Browns can't suck any worse than they usually do. Can't believe grown men cried when this team left the first time.
