Saints' Brees voted AP Offensive Player of the Year

QB Drew Brees of the Saints has been voted as the AP Offensive Player of the Year. He threw for 5,069, just 15 less than Dan Marino's 1984 record. Sadly, the Saints still missed the playoffs thanks to their craptastic defense.

I guess he deserved this if they're looking purely at offensive numbers.

I'm still amazed that Kurt Warner was overlooked for this and the MVP award. Guess he's having the last laugh.
