Here are some of the recipes that you can make on valentine's day . Occasions like Valentine's Day can be tough on dieters. Here are some tips that you can follow so that you won't break the calorie bank:

Cocktails can be replaced by ravishing and healthy mocktails as they are all fruits with no alcohol. They will vitalise you without adding much calorie to your drink. If you still want to have alcohol then opt for a glass of red wine instead of beer or other alcoholic beverages. Red wine is rich with antioxidants called polyphenols.

One of the most popular and effective way to present your feelings is by the way of some nice chocolates or chocolate based dish. Choose a dark chocolate over milk chocolate to get the health benefits of antioxidants present in it. You can also prepare some low fat chocolate dishes like chocolate fondue, chocolate pudding or chocolate truffles.

If you are eating out, don't forget to order a vegetable soup. It will cover up for your vegetable allowance.

Opt for russian salads, as they are diced vegetables in thick yogurt (curd) looking colorful and good. This will add a healthy change to the usually boring feel of salads.
