Toyota takes sales crown from GM - MSN Money

Toyota has outsold General Motors, breaking a 77-year streak held by the American automaker. Both companies, however, experienced decreased sales in these tough economic times.

You know, for some odd reason that doesn't surprise me. I have seen so many ads and news articles about Toyota's gaining popularity.

I think people are rapidly coming to the conclusion that Toyota makes a superior product which gets better gas mileage. GM is going to have a tough road ahead of them when it comes to getting some of their lost customers back into the fold.

Can't feel too sorry for them, though. Toyota just seems to offer a superior product.

I agree. I have owned Toyota's in the past as well, but never a GM product that I liked.
