The Technology Chronicles : CES09: Shortcovers looks to bring e-books to iPhone, others
Indigo Books & Music (a Canadian company) is trying to get Apple on board with their Shortcovers application. If it works, iPhone users will be able to access top books from publishers for as little as 99 cents. In many cases, the first chapters of new books will be available for free. Poems, news stories, speeches and serialized content will also be available. Just when I thought the Amazon Kindle was going to take over, something new comes along.
