My idea for a short story: A vampire writes an annoyed letter-to-the-editor to the publishers of a fictional horror magazine, busting the myths about "real vampires" and complaining about depictions of vampires in the popular media. This vampire would be from a small town in Texas.

I'm considering one of two titles: "Poor Man's Vampire" or the more vaguely-named "Letter To The Editor". In the second case, the hope would be that it would draw at least one reader offsides into thinking that a guy pretending to be a real vampire was actually writing to your magazine.
I'd go with "Letter to the Editor." Sounds like an interesting premise.
